iShade9は「静止画専用」の廉価グレードです。
廉価版と言っても「初心者向けにアレンジされたイージー版」ではありません。
大幅な機能削減・レンダリングサイズ（年賀はがきサイズ相当まで）も制限されたBasicより
更に描きの機能が削られています。

* アニメーション制作・出力機能（動画一切、作成できません）
* スクリプト機能（マクロ作業や機能拡張が行えません）
* ラジオシティ（Shadeの特徴とも言える光と陰をひきたたせるレンダリング画像がえられません）
* ネットワークレンダリング（オンラインレンダリングサービスも受けられません）
* マジカルスケッチ（実用性が低いのでこれはなくてもいいでしょう）
* Design Exchange社提供のコンテンツ（ないものは自分で作ればいいのです）
* 64Bitネイティブアプリケーション（Leopard環境での動作が遅くなります）
* QTVR（360度パノラマQuickTime静止ムービー・実用性は低いか…？）

既にShadeをお持ちの方には「自由曲線モデラー」の追加ライセンス、始めて購入される方には
「最小の金銭リスクで国産3D統合環境入門」という位置づけのソフトだと解釈した方が
良いでしょう（iShadeは上位グレードへのアップグレードもできません）。
