プログラマには役立ちませんが、iPhone, Android のビジネスが気になる方は読んでみる価値がありそうです。IT業界外の方でもテレビ等で断片的に紹介されるスマートフォンの分野の動向を知るには良い読み物だと思います。著者自らの経験も交えた 第4章 iPhoneアプリの公開手順の「勘どころ」もよくまとまっていると思います。

iPhone のプログラムに関する内容は書かれていません。
iPhone のアプリを開発し公開するまでに必要な手続き(流れ)に関してたいへん勉強になる本です。

Apple ID の取得 -> SDK のダウンロード ->デベロッパプログラムの導入 -> 銀行関係の手続き -> 米国税務情報の手続き -> アプリ公開・公開後のサポートの方法　等々

自分が作ったアプリを公開するまでに必要な手続きに関してWEB画面の引用もありわかりやすく書かれています。

アプリを公開するとなると、アメリカの法律にのっとった商取引になります。
当然、税務上の書類作成もしなくてはいけない。
そこまで考えてなかった私にはとても参考になりました。

アプリ開発の体験談、ヒントなんかも書かれています。
iPhone のアプリ開発したいと思っている方は買って損のない本です。

この本をきっかけに、SDKを入手し、１００＄払って正式にアップルのデベロッパー契約しました。SDKの本も購入し、Objective-Cも始めました。
iPhoneアプリに興味があるけど、どうしてよいかわからない人にはとても参考になります。いきなり、プログラミングの本を読み始めるより、プログラミング以外に必要なこと、何から始めればいいのか？などがよくわかりました。
