謎の少年たつやくんとCMソング女王マユミーヌによる、ファニーデュエット・ソング。
この歌は、替え歌を作って贈れるサイト<まねきねこダックの歌>の為に作られたもので既に人気沸騰中、9万曲以上の替え歌が集まっている。たつやくんとマユミーヌがそれぞれ、ねことアヒルになって誰かの幸せを祈る、という歌でほのぼのと温かい気分に満たされる。
初回限定盤は「まねきねこダックの歌」他2曲にそれぞれのオリジナル・カラオケ3曲の全6曲を収録し、加えてオリジナル・アニメーションを使用した各3曲のイメージ映像を収録したDVD付き。

“まねきねこダック”は外資系某大手保険会社のCMの第２弾楽曲です。
今回の曲は前作の“アヒルのワルツ”の時のような流れるノリのあるワルツの音楽と歌詞ではありません、どちらかと言えばほのぼのとした感じの楽曲で、たつやくんとマユミーヌさんの心和ませる歌い綴りが良い感じの楽曲です。

単に聞く限りでは何となく単調に聞こえますが、繰り返し聞いていると心が和み思わず笑みがこぼれそうです。
