デジイチに興味はあるけど、何をしたらいいのか、何ができるのか全く分からないという初心者には、親切なガイドモードがあるので安心のモデルです。各項目・機能の使い方もヘルプをすぐ呼び出せるので、非常に便利。説明書を読まなくても使っているうちに覚えられます。
ニコンのモデルは、ボディ・レンズ共に表面がザラザラした仕上げのおかげで、価格の割に高級感を覚えました(とは言い過ぎか?)。作りに妥協しないニコンに好感が持てます。 ボディは結構コンパクトですね。女性には良い感じのホールド感と思いますが、手の大きい人や男には小指がはみ出てやや掴み難いと感じるかも知れません。長時間持っていると小指が痛くなってきます。
18-55mmのレンズキットを購入しましたが、このレンズでは望遠側に不足を感じます。望遠をアテにする方は、ダブルズームキットをオススメします。液晶モニターは画素数が少なく、画像がやや粗い感じはありますが、3型と大きく見易いのであまり気にならないかも。また、流行りの動画モードはこのモデルは搭載していないので、動画目当てなら少し高くなりますが同社ならD5000。
動画以外に連写やAF性能、マニュアル機能・操作等、それなりのものを求めてステップアップも考慮するとD90やD300sという事になります。
D3000は作りといい、機能といい、初心者に自信を持ってオススメできるモデルです。

Ｄ９０のサブとして妻と共用で使っています。操作的にも初心者に親切。接写や多重をしない普通の風景写真やスナップには最適ですね。ただ、設定や撮影後の編集にかなり省略された点があります。その点はパソコン上での修正となりますか。レンズキットも１８−１０５、または１８−２００があればと思います。ＣＣＤ1千万画素には現在多少不満も残りますが、コストパフォーマンスから言えば仕方が無いと思います。
