candyは、「大きな古時計」「瞳をとじて」などの大ヒットシングルで「平井堅＝クリーンなイメージの国民的歌手」と思っている人には、あまり受けないかも知れませんが、平井堅を愛してやまない人にとっては、この曲もまた愛してやまない１曲になりそうな予感です。
ファンには隠れた名曲（？）として知られる「LADYNAPPER」（The changing same収録）を彷彿とさせるプチエロ曲で、良い意味での軽いメロディ（作曲は別人）に、堅ちゃんらしく想像力過剰気味でエロかわいく韻を踏んでいる歌詞がとても面白いです。
一緒に歌おうにも、なかなかの早口で舌も回らず音階の流れも小難しく、一見軽いけど実はかなり高度な楽曲なのですが、いつもながら完璧です。

しかし、私は同時に収録されている「Do it!」にこそ、ダークサイド堅ちゃんの魅力がどっかーんと大爆発していると思います。「鍵穴」を受け入れられる方であれば、はまるはずです。
かつて女性目線で歌われた「missing you 　it will break my heart（英語詞）」の柔らかな声には感動しましたが、「Do it!」は同じ女性目線でも「場末の娼婦ふう」。
歌詞もびっくりのHですが、ただHなだけではなく、この歌詞を書けるのもすごい才能だと思います。しかも歌い方が、女の私が「女の堅ちゃん」をセクシーと言うのが適切なのかよくわかりませんが、湿度の高い、絡み付くようないやらしさがあって、もう見事としかいいようがないです・・。この表現力が本当にスゴい！娼婦姿の平井堅を想像したくなくてもしてしまうほどです（笑）

個人的にはcandyよりも「Do it!」が好きです。
もしこの曲をシングルにしたとしたら（あり得ませんが）、多くの人々をドン引きさせることは間違いないのですが、あなたが「堅ちゃんのすべてが好き」と自負するのであればマストな１曲だし、もう１曲の「フルサ・サイーダ」もなかなかに怪しい魅力の詰まったアラブふうな曲で今までにない感じの曲なので、是非お手元に置く事を強くオススメいたします！！！

初めて聴いたときは、うーんと意外性に驚きで
何とも評価しがたかったのですが、
何度か聴くとジワジワと良さが分かる感じです。
枠にはまらない、いろいろな試みが詰まった意欲作で
歌詞の「いやらしさ」にばかり注目が集まりますが、
ちょっと優しい「情」が見えるのが秀逸です。

「大きな古時計」「瞳を閉じて」「いつか離れる日が来ても」、
そして最新の「僕は君に恋をする」など、
世間的にはバラードソングのイメージが強い平井堅ですが、
こういう大人のR＆Bナンバーのほうが、自分的には好みです。

多少、セクシャルな表現を混ぜた甘い菓子、ではなく歌詞。
キラキラしてて、リズムも心地良いサウンド面と、
全体的に軽く思えても、何度も飽きずにスッと聴ける一曲。
「fake ster」が好きな人は親しめるかと。

カップリングも共にアダルティ志向で、全体的に大人な一枚。
個人的に好きだった『Style』はあまり売れなかったらしいですが、
こちらは頑張って欲しいです。

PVはラブホ？を巡る平井堅。
風呂場に居た、とあるカップルに、
不機嫌そうに飴を投げつけるシーンが好きですｗ
