2007年に他界した伝説のラリードライバー、コリン・マクレーの名を冠したRCG『コリン・マクレー ダート』シリーズの第2弾。メインモードの"ワールドツアー"では、渓谷、ジャングル、スタジアムなど世界各地のさまざまな環境を舞台に、ジャンプ台や水濠の設けられたコースで、本物さながらの過激なレースが楽しめる。グラフィック&物理エンジンには、『レースドライバーグリッド』で使用された"ゲームエンジンEGO"の改良版を採用。高解像度テクスチャによってモデリングされたマシン群は、実車と見間違えるほどリアルなものに進化している。ツアー以外には、PS3版とXbox 360版ではオンライン、PSP版ではアドホックモードでマルチプレイが可能。PS3版とXbox 360版のみ、クラッシュやミスした直前のレース状態まですばやく巻き戻せる"フラッシュバック機能"が搭載されている。

このゲーム楽しすぎます!
グラフィックは綺麗だし、音楽もバッチリです。
ドライバー視点での運転が熱い! そしてリプレイもかっこいい。 コドライバーのナビも雰囲気盛り上げてますよ。

操作性はハンドリングがクイックですが、慣れると問題ないと思います。
いままで、NFSシリーズやバーンアウト。フォルツァにFUELなど、車系はけっこうやり込んでますが、個人的にはXboxで一番面白いカーゲームだと思います。

強いて要望を言えば、同じステージでも天候の変化が欲しかったですね。

それでも、ラリー好きの方は買って損はしないと思いますよ!

とにかく楽しい。飛び散る水しぶき、舞い散る砂埃、宙に舞い上がり横転破壊される車体、格好良すぎ。今流行りのフラッシュバックも搭載(回数有限)してるんでクラッシュを恐れずに攻撃的なドライビングが楽しめる。映像はとても綺麗(特にフロントガラスに付く水シブキ)で素晴らしい。フォルツァ3よりコチラにどはまり中。格好いいリプレイを保存出来ないのがちと残念。車好きは必ずはまるはず。

まず、ラリー自体が持つ魅力がとても上手に表現されている。
グラフィックも、フォルツァと比べてきれい、ではなく、「雰囲気が出ている」
と思う。水しぶきや砂埃など、ラリーの持つ性格がすごくよく引き出せていて、
ゲームとして面白い。

ラリーのどこを楽しんでもらいたいかがすごく伝わってくる。
TDU、フォルツァ（3はデモのみ…）、NFSPS、GRIDなどいろいろレースゲームはやったが、
間違いなくXbox最高峰のレースゲームだと思う。


市販車や、実名ドライバーも雰囲気作りに貢献している。
VWレーストゥアレグや、レーシングランサーなどマニアックな車も操作できる。

音楽や、メニュー画面のセンスもよく、ロード時間も退屈なし。

欲を言えば、車種とコースにもう少しボリュームがほしかったところ。
