至上の音楽である。
marble３ヶ月ぶりのニュー・シングル「violet」。　

表題曲の「violet」は前作「初恋limited」に続いての新機軸。
全編通してシングル曲としては音数のあまりの少なさ、そしてmiccoのクールで透き通った歌声が静かに響き渡るスロウテンポの楽曲に仕上がっている。
　しかし音数が少ないからこそ伝わってくるものも大きい。
miccoの息遣いがダイレクトに伝わる歌声は心に染み渡ってくるし、菊池達也のギターの音色もとても良い手触りで鳴っている。
繊細に鳴るドラムとベース、そして何より間奏でフィーチャーされるエレキピアノの音色の郷愁感は極上である。

この曲を聴いてると過去の様々な思い出をフラッシュバック出来るような、昔懐かしい風景に帰れるような感覚になります。
シンプルに立ち返る、手作り感に溢れる音。　心が安らげる音。
非常に気持ちの良い音楽空間に浸れる名曲に仕上がっています。

またカップリングがべらぼうに良いです。カップリングの曲じゃないみたい。
全曲シングルカット出来るアルバムという売り文句はよく聞くが、これは全曲シングルカットできるシングルであると思った。
ドラマチックなサビを際立たせている「時の華」、
淡々と、かつ情感たっぷりのサビとサーフ・ロックの要素も感じさせるサウンドが夏の夕暮れにジャスト・フィットしそうな「宝石」。
どれもテーマを同じくしていて、雰囲気も近い、でもってメロディとアレンジが珠玉。

ということで、ある意味コンセプト・ミニアルバムとしても聴けるシングルかもしれません。


これらをまとめると、単純にすっげえいい音楽です。純粋なポップ・ミュージックとはこういう音楽な気がする。じっくりと聴き込める。
ジャケットのイメージそのままです。

息継ぎがすごい目立つ
まったり聴かせるタイプの曲なだけに余計に
アニメ見てるときは気にならなかったけど（主に視覚に注意がいくから）
音楽だけを集中して聴くとちょっとなぁ　という感じ
