来年にはベリキューに高卒のメンバーが出るため、今年の夏は、一つの区切りになるのではないかと思う。

夏と言えばハロプロだと僕は勝手に思う。夏の定番とまで言われたハロプロシャッフルを行わなくなっても、ベリキューが夏にリリースする曲は、とても夏らしく、そして良い曲が多かった。その年の夏のテーマソングとなっていた。そんなだから、ハロプロに対しては四季の中で、夏が一番期待度が高かった。

カバー曲ですが、原曲が悪い訳でも無く、℃-uteが悪い訳でも無く、アレンジが悪いわけではないが、僕は正直微妙だと思った。カップリング曲だったら、結構いいんじゃないかと思ったけど、そういうのは業界的に失礼なのか。同じ夏リリースのカバーシングル曲でも、メロン記念日の涙の太陽は最高でした、僕は。

一番がっかりしたのが、カップリング曲だ。なんと愛理ちゃんのソロ曲だ。愛理ちゃんのソロは大好きだし、客観的に見て℃-uteの中で1、2を争うくらい歌は上手だと思う。しかし、シングルのカップリングとしてはどうだったのだろうか。愛理ちゃんはじめ、メンバーと年相応の歌詞で、やや切ない感じのバラードになっていた。メンバーの仲の良さが魅力の℃-ute、栞菜ちゃんがいないのは残念だし、仕方の無いことだとは思うが、もうちょっと良い思い出が作れなかったのだろうかと思う。

PVはかなり素晴らし出来だと思ったのでその関連映像に期待したい。

新生タンポポ、プッチモニ、ミニモニ。、そしてカバーアルバムにどのような形で℃-uteが絡むかはまだ不明だが今年の夏は寒くなりそうな予感が大。

キャンディーズの往年の大ヒット曲を平成アイドル゜Ｃ-uteが爽やかにカバー。
ボーカルは矢島＆鈴木の２ＴＯＰ。有原は不参加です。外反母趾がまだ完治しないのかな？
この曲は是非ＰＶで楽しんでほしいね。演奏やコーラスはオリジナルを踏襲しており、真新しい印象にやや欠ける。
ＰＶの゜Ｃ-uteは夏らしく赤い花柄ミニを身にまとい、キャンディーズの振り付けをアレンジして演じている。
メンバー１人１人も実に女っぽくなり、ミニから覗く脚線美に思わず目が釘付け。
ラストではメンバーが書いた暑中見舞いを赤いポストに投函するシーンで終わるが、曲に実にマッチして清涼感溢れる仕上がり。
うっとうしい梅雨の時期も、彼女達の明るい歌声で乗り切ろう！
