タイトルの「cocutura」はラテン語で「融合」という意味です。 matryoshkaと他のアーティストの感性の融合である、リミックスアルバ ムに相応しいと思い命名しました。リミキサーのほうは、これまでにお 世話になった方、面識はないが好きなアーティストの中から、各楽曲を 違う解釈で再構築して下さるであろう方たちを選びました。最終的にほ ぼ理想の人選としていたとおりの、豪華なアーティストが揃い驚きと感 動を覚えます。完成した楽曲が送られてくるたび、プレゼントを開ける かのように高揚しながらファイルを再生しました。どの楽曲も本当に素 晴らしく、良く知っているような・・初めて聴くような・・不思議な感 覚もありました。そして、単なるリミックスアルバムではなく、 1枚のオムニバス・アルバムとして完結するような完成度の高い作品に 仕上がったと今では確信しております。

アーティストについて
Matryoshka //東京を拠点に活動。以前からアート映像やインディーズ 映画の楽曲などを製作していたSen(主にトラック製作担当) と、宅録で音源製作をしていたCalu(Vo.)が、 2006年に出会い意気投合、結成に至る。オランダで7インチを別名儀 Parachute Coatsにて発売後、2007年にリリースしたファースト 「Zatracenie」が大ヒットする。
