黒沢作品のボックスということで、何はともあれ購入しました。
羅生門と乱を見たので、その感想です。
羅生門は、何も言うことがありません。素晴らしい出来です。是非、多くの人に見て欲しいＢＤですね。画像のレストアは、完璧だと思います。

乱は、残念ながら全体にぼやけたような画像で、羅生門が素晴らしかったので、あまり、ＢＤ用に制作したモノではないのではないでしょうか？原色を多く用いているので、ＢＤにとって映像の善し悪しが出やすいと思います。今後、レストアしなおして出してくるのでしょうか。とりあえず、焦って買うべきボックスではないと思います。

が、羅生門は必ず見るべきだと思います。言い過ぎか？

作品的には文句なしの星5つですが、BR特有ののつるつるした高画質感が逆にフィルムの質感を殺しているように思えました。いずれもっと技術も改善されフィルムの質感を生かした高画質ディスクも出るのではと思います。まだBRも発展途上と思われます。かなりの高額ですし、購入するにはもう少し様子を見た方がいいでしょう。

角川書店発売なので、大映主体の作品になった事は仕方ないですが、4本だけというのも寂しいかな。ま、いづれ東宝からコンプリートで発売されそうですが。ただ値段が高いですね。作品内容は素晴らしいですが、50年近く前の作品ですから、定価で8000円20%引きで6400円だと、つまり半値だと30000セットは完売するのに残念な事ではあります。
