2006年1月、子どもが生まれたのと同時に購入しました。
以来２年間、大活躍しています。

高い安全性が評価され、一躍有名となった本製品ですが
当時は赤ちゃん雑誌にもほとんど採り上げられることはなく
お店の片隅にひっそりと展示してあったものをすかさずGET
おかげで、かなり安く買うことができました。

子ども自身が嫌がらないことが何よりの美点ですが
取り付けた際に全然グラつかず、クルマの座席にピッタリ密着することも
単なるカタログ上の数字ではない安心感があって良かったです。

当時から「取り付けやすさ」をうたっている製品はたくさんありましたが
ただ方法が簡便なだけ、というものが多い中にあって
「誰にでも確実にしっかり取り付けられる」という意味での「取り付けやすさ」でも
とても満足です。

当時は色のバリエーションが無かったので、ネイビーブルーにしましたが、
現在は４色から選べるようになったので、それが唯一の不満です（笑）

ベビー用品ブランドとしては、ほとんど無名のメーカーかもしれませんが
ラリー（自動車競技）の中継では
ドライバーのシートベルトには“TAKATA”の文字が見られるし
クルマのアクセサリーカタログに載っている「純正チャイルドシート」も
実はタカタ製だったりと、
クルマ業界では相当実績あるメーカーさんのようです。
製品自体の出来はもちろん満足でしたが
こうした点から、ブランド志向の方にもオススメしたいと思います。

安全性を考えてこの製品に決めました。
退院時から使っていますが、子供がぐずったり嫌がることもなく、
むしろ乗せるとすぐ寝てしまうくらい快適なようです。
子供が触れるクッションやベルトカバーはすべて洗えるので便利です。
このクッションはふかふかで子供を包み込んでくれるのでありがたいのですが
夏場は子供が汗でぐっしょりになってしまいます。(笑)
うちではタオルを敷いたりまめにクッションを洗ったりしていました。

子供のベルトをセットするとき、なかなかカチッとしまらず
ぐいぐい押すと子供が苦しそうで、早く締めたいときなどはイライラしてしまいます。
差し込まれるほうがカバーに覆われていて隠れてしまうので、
むやみに差し込まず、ちゃんとそれぞれの部品を押さえた方がいいとわかりました。
あと、左右のベルトをくっつけるときに、
子供の指を挟みそうになったことが何度かあるので注意してください！

設置方法を初めて説明書を読んだときは難しい、と思ったのですが
実際設置してみるとすぐにできて、面倒ではないです。
2台の車で共用していますが、慣れれば付け替えは5分くらいですみます。

ベージュの色はシックな感じで、革内装にマッチするのが良いです。
全体的にデザインが曲線で優しく美しいのが特徴ですね。
我が家は女の子なので、優しい感じのにしたくて、これにしました。

他の人のレビューで使い勝手の悪さを指摘している人がいましたが、
うーん、きっと何か勘違いされているような気がします・・・スミマセン。
他のチャイルドシートより使い勝手は非常に良いと思うのですが、、、
説明書はちょっと分かりにくい感もありますが、
購入後に付属のハガキを送るとDVDが送られてきますので、
DVDの説明を見ながら装着すると良いと思いますよ。
