久々に「次世代」を感じられた商品。
薄型テレビや新しい携帯、綺麗なグラフィックや体感できるゲームを見ても「未来」を感じられない私ですが、nike + iPodでは「未来」を感じることができました。

概要などの説明は省きますが、外に出て歩いたり走ったりしたくなるガジェットです。
アスリート用ではないと思うので、正確な距離や消費カロリーを知りたいと思う方にはお勧めできませんが、「楽しむ」範囲では、十分すぎます。

何よりかっこいいのが、音声のフェードイン・アウトの仕方。
音楽のサビが来る時点でホームボタンを押すと、痺れます。

ただ、touch(2nd)ではワイヤレスレシーバが不要なので、ワイヤレスレシーバがないキットの購入をお勧めします。　価格も1000円ほど安いですし。

マラソンのペース作りに最適です。
iPodのポッドランナーというポッドキャストを使って自分に合ったペースで走ることができます。このセンサーが無くてもいいのですが、走り終わってから実際のペースを確認したり、トレーニングの履歴を残したりできるので重宝しています。
しかし、電池が切れると買い換えないといけないのは減点です。

走ることが楽しくなるiPodアクセサリ。

ランニングワークアウトを始めようと思って買った商品。
値段が３４００円というのはびっくり。
一般的なジムの１月の会費にも満たない値段で、
センサーをiPodに取り付けるだけで、ワークアウトのサポートをしてくれる。

iPodのドケットに白いセンサーを差し込み、
赤いセンサーをnikeの専用のシューズに埋め込むことで、
iPodがランニングワークアウトのサポートをしてくれるソフト。

nikeの専用のシューズではなくても、
別売りで赤いセンサーを靴に取りつける、
アクセサリを１０００円程度で買うことができる。
