今年、Massive Attackがキュレーターを務めたMELTDOWN FESTIVALにてYELLOW MAGIC ORCHESTRA名義で行われた
Royal Festival Hallでのライブ録音、2枚組。
YMO時代の名曲”ONGAKU” ”CUE”や、HASYMO名義の新曲"THE CITY OF LIGHT" "TOKYO TOWN PAGES"を初披露した、
聴きどころ満載の全18曲を完全収録。
実に28年ぶりとなったこの日のロンドン公演は、サポートにクリスチャン・フェネス、高田漣、権藤知彦を得て6人編成で行われた、
生バンドとしての強烈なグルーヴを体感できる作品です。

ロンドンの興奮冷めやらぬ、その4日後に行われたスペインはヒホン Laboral Ciudad de la Culturaにて、
”TIBETAN DANCE” “RIOT IN LAGOS”などの坂本龍一楽曲や、”MARS” ”CHRONOGRAPH”といったSKETCH SHOWの楽曲ら、
YMO/HASYMO以外の曲も披露した全16曲をこちらも2枚組にて完全収録。
同じく、サポートにクリスチャン・フェネス、高田漣、権藤知彦を迎えたこの日...YMOのフィジカルなグルーヴは最高潮に達した。
ほとんど日本人の姿がない会場で、歴史的とも言える彼らのパフォーマンスは、必聴です。
