原作を読んで、平山さんのファンだったのですが最近新刊が出ていないなぁと思っていたら、なんとDVDを発見しました。大抵、先に原作を読んでいると映画は自分のイメージと違ってがっかりすることが多いのですが、本作は原作に忠実な感じで、EggManの持つ狂気さが映像的にも綺麗に表現されていて、個人的にはイメージ通りの大満足な作品でした!!

あんまり書くとネタバレになってしまうのですが、とにかく最後まで目が離せないストーリー展開であっという間の40分です。しかもテレビなんかじゃ放送できないグロさもいい！！

実は昨年の映画祭の併設イベントで観ました。あまり良い環境ではなかったので、印象としてはもうひとつでしたが、ディテールまで凝った絵作りがされていました。もう一度、DVDでちゃんと観たいと思います。
原作は未読。でも楽しめました。
舞台設定とテーマはどちらも有名な作品から借りたようにもとれますが、まさにオマージュということでしょう。
