愛が、憎しみに変わる前に

今回大抜擢されたMBS・TBS系TVアニメ「機動戦士ガンダム00」セカンドシーズン
オープニングテーマとしても原作のイメージにぴったりとはまり、かつUVERworldの十八番でもあり、
一番おいしい部分を生かしたロックナンバーに仕上がっています。男女間だけではなく、
親子、根本的な人間同士の間に存在する「愛」。現実社会も「歪んだジレンマ時代」に突入している昨今、

一見キャッチーなメロディですが、歌詞の中身は愛と憎しみという遠いようで、最も密接な感情の気紛れさを表現したものになってます。
愛が憎しみに、憎しみが愛にも変わる儚さ…その刹那の感情がメロディアスなサビに乗せて歌われています。

承知の事実ですがガンダム00の主題歌にもなっており、OPの絵にも、作品内容にも見事にベストマッチした曲に仕上がっています。

限定版は避けてこの通常版のレビューに書かせて頂きます。

ガンダム00のタイアップはそんなには気にしておりません。むしろ知らなくても普通に聴けます。
まぁ最近はいかにもって感じのアニメソングは、製作サイドに敬遠されてて絶滅危惧種みたいなもんですがね。

愛と憎しみと言うのは、本当に危ういバランスを取っている感情であると言う事は現実世界でもよくある話と言う物です。
まぁ茶化したように言うと「ヤンデレ」とか「昼メロ」なんて方向性の代物もあるわけで（笑

しかし、愛と言うのは別に「恋愛」だけでなく、「家族愛」とか「友愛」とかそう言う使い方もありますからね。
そう言う意味で、『愛のない歪んだ時代』には既になってるやもしれません。
いろんな意味で人々が「本当の愛」を忘れないで欲しいと歌っているとも取れるのでしょうか……。

カップリング曲の「体温」「ハルジオン」もカナシと同じで大なり小なり「人の営み」が表現されてます。

前者はくすぶり続けている退廃的な日常と言った雰囲気を醸し出しており、憎しみと言うよりは「絶望」に繋がりかねない物悲しさを感じます。

後者はもっと大きな範囲で、一期一会の巡りあわせに重ねて過去を懐かしみ、いずれ自分も空へ旅立つ生と死を歌っています。
曲名で某臆病者の一撃さんを思い出してしまった事は別問題として……無論これはこれで好きです。

3曲ともがネガティブとポジティブ、双方の感情を歌詞に組み込まれていて、それがウーバーの魅力かなと個人的には捕えております。
