皇帝ペンギンの世界は歌が命。歌で心を伝えられなければ、一人前の大人にはなれない。音痴な上に、タップダンスが上手という困った皇帝ペンギンのマンブルは、当然のようにエンペラー帝国から追放されてしまう。ひとりぼっちで未知の世界に飛び出すことになったマンブルは、ひょんなことからアデリー・ペンギンの5人組“アミーゴス”、そしてロックのカリスマ、ラブレイスと出会い、次第に自信とリズムを取り戻していく。踊る皇帝ペンギン、マンブルが繰り広げる、自分探しの大冒険が今始まる!
