7月2日のアップデートで氷太刀ドドドドが実装された為、エクエスエッジの評価が多少下がることになった。まぁ見た目が美しいので太刀使いなら欲しい一品であり、麻痺との双属性である事とスロット2という優れた点もあるが、140程度の麻痺蓄積値では片手剣並みの攻撃回数でさえ厳しい数値。PTメンバーにアクラなどの麻痺武器の使い手がいた場合にその真価を発揮する。
一方、ダブルキャンペーンで入手できるストレガエッジは木刀に睡眠値で劣るものの、攻撃力・スロット・切れ味で勝り、且つ防御上昇能力が加わっている。性能的には五分五分かやや勝るだろう。特に青ゲージの長さが段違いなので、使い勝手としてはこちらが上回る。強化材料の袋が鬼門だったが、現在は救済クエがあり、以前に比べると然程強化は難しくない。

5,000円という金額については、60日クーポンが課金で2,660ポイント消費、インストール用DVDの価値等を考えると、ゲーム内用の特典が2,000円位の計算になると思われる。
それが高いか安いか評価するのは個人の判断に任される。

MHFを約1年間プレイしていますが、また出たの？という感じです。
しかしながら毎回おまけもたくさんついています。
月額課金のゲームなので、利用クーポンは必ず必要になるのですが、
どうしても割高に感じてしまうのは私だけでしょうか？
まぁパッケージですから新規ユーザー獲得の為の商品でしょうが、
現行ユーザーにはちょっと受け入れられにくいのかな？
でも私も買ってしまうかもしれません。
ユーザー待遇パッケージとか出せば良いのに。

3.0 out of 5 stars PSP版やPS版とは全く違う。, 2008/8/2
PSP版、PS2版を経験してきたものの、難易度が相当に高く感じました。

コントローラーがPSPやPS2と感触や大きさが違うからかもしれませんが、かなり操作は難しいです。
ボタン位置などはPS2版と変わらないと思ってもらったら良いと思います。

良いところは、画面がPSPやPS2版よりも綺麗なこと。
このゲームの醍醐味であるPTプレイが容易なこと。

しかし、自分には悪い面ばかりが目立ちました。

特に、インフォメーションが悪くて複雑です。
最初にどこに行って何をすればよいのか、何が出来て何が出来ないのかが非常にわかりにくい。

単体ゲーム機から移行した場合にはあまりの違いに戸惑うことが多いと思います。
ざっと公式HPを見てからプレイしても分かりにくいです。
