2008年1月19日(土)に8000人の大観衆を集め行われた、16年振りの武道館公演を完全収録!ツアーバンドと共に第一部、そしてセンターステージでのギター1本でのソロ・コーナー、第二部はツアーバンド、ゲストミュージシャン、ストリングスの総勢40名の大編成による演奏で構成。合計29曲、3時間20分に及ぶ公演は圧巻の一言。これら本編に加えて、1976年5月22日の日本武道館追加公演の映像を特典映像として収録。こちらの映像は、当時フィルムコンサートでしか流された以外、他で使用されたことがないという超貴重映像!!さらに、初回盤のみ28Pからなるメモリアル・フォトブック付き。ファン必見!!!

コンサートの完全収録版というのが良いです。
ＮＨＫ−ＢＳで放映されていましたが、かなり編集されていて
物足らなく思った方にも、十分おススメです。
サウンド的には、生ギターの音も結構クリアで、かぐや姫・こうせつ・風時代の
ギター少年にも、満足な内容だと思います。
３ディスクの昔の武道館映像は、仕方ないと思いますが
やはり今の映像及びサウンドが良いので、落差が激しいかなと思います。
ジャケット及びケースも高級感があってＧＯＯＤです。
出来たら、2006年の『拓郎＆かぐや姫　つま恋コンサート』の完全収録版が欲しいのは
僕だけではないはずです。

決して音響的にはコンサート向けとは言えない武道館。それでも良い音が出ていました。
ミュージシャンも一流の人が出てきました。
DISK2の一曲目、大きな幕が開き、オーケストラが登場し鳥肌が立ち、DVDを見直してもあの感情が蘇ってきました。
こうせつのコンサートは喋りを聞きたいという人も沢山いると思います。全曲収録の為、カットを余儀なくされるというジレンマもありました。
来年は還暦、そしてつま恋。まだまだ健在です。
