元曲とは全く違うアプローチがとっても新鮮で楽しい一枚です。

今まで打ち込みのイメージが強く、Rimixのアルバムには手を出さなかったのですが、これで完全に認識変えられました。
こっちの方が好きかも？なんて曲もあります。
特にその驚きは、邦楽カバーのこちらの方が強いです。

なかでも「木蓮の涙」「はじまりはいつも雨」は必聴です。
視聴すれば音楽好きならハマると思います。
さあ！レコードショップへ急げ！（笑）

面白い、と思いました。電子音だけじゃなく生楽器たちを緻密に配したサンドワークに仕上がっている今作。カバーで既に仕上がったものが更に次元の違う宇宙観へ止揚され、固定観念から音が自由に開放されているので、とにかくその音楽の斬新さに好奇心が刺激され続けました。ちょうど美術館で思いもよらないアートな色彩感覚に出会ったときのように、脳が活性化するような面白味です。現代日本最先端のサウンドクリエーターたちの才能・センスを知れるのですから、はっきりいって佐藤竹善という枠からこちらリスナーも一気に世界が拡がるようなのです。

1曲目の「amanogawa（with Skoop On Somebody）」なんてあえて旋律にぶつかるリズム音を鳴らし続けてきています。その大胆さが曲から既存の秩序をとっぱらわせ、音楽を凄く自由な領域へ解放させました。すると一見ぶつかっていた音が随所に調和しだす瞬間を体感し出します。その時、アレンジの楽しさってこういうところかと、世界観の広さを感じられました。

因みに作品はアシッドジャズへと変貌を遂げた曲が多いです。例えばH・ハンコック『処女航海』のホーン隊が吹かすような風に包まれた「生れくる〜」や流れるようなジャズ「木蘭の涙（withコブクロ）」など、曲がみたことない新しい色彩になっており、かなり面白いのです。
一方トロピカルなジャズアレンジではコンガとアコギが跳ねる「サヨナラ」や、コンガにピアノが軽やかに重なり、ストリングスもそれに沿って流れてゆく「はじまりはいつも雨」。更に「Hey！」のグルーヴも素晴らしいですね。他方「Get Back In Love」は静謐(せいひつ)な奥行きが生まれ、その中に緻密な構成を作りこむ知的な仕上がり。

しかし大胆だ自由だといっても、今作のポイントはサブタイトルについたラウンジ系が表すように、あくまでスムースな心地よさという点です。又、元々の構成にしてもVo.にしても竹善氏のバランスの良さがあるからこんな品質の高いリミックスになるのでは、とも思えました。

カバーのリミックスって？？と思って恐る恐る買ってみたけど、コーナーストーンズですごい良かった曲までラウンジ系になっちゃった。。。
竹善さんはプロデュースしてないのでしょうね、邦楽は歌詞が直接入ってくるだけに切ない系もしっとり系もぜーんぶチャカポコチャカポコいっちゃってる。
アーバンでスタイリッシュに、をコンセプトにしたのでしょうが私は聞けません。
初めて佐藤竹善さんのアルバムを買って外しました。いや残念。
皆さんどう思います?
さあ〜ＩＮＤＩＧＯでも聞いてお口直ししよおっと。
