　危機的状況に陥った時に困難を乗り越えていく物語としては、非情によく出来た映画です。結末はわかっていても手に汗握る展開でロン・ハワード監督作品としてはアケデミー賞を受賞した「ビューティフル・マインド」よりもこちらの方が良かった。むしろ家族関係などの描写はもっと最小限にしてひたすら困難に立ち向かう男たちの物語にしてもよかったのではないでしょうか。ただし、実話の映画化ではありますが、ジム・ラベルの原作を元にしているので、ジム・ラベルがヒーローになりすぎていて、スワイガードの落ち度を示唆する描写があった点が気になります。トム・ハンクスをはじめ、ケビン・ベーコン、ゲーリー・シニーズ、ビル・パクストンなど出演者は適役で熱演ですが、なんといってもエド・ハリスの格好良さが抜群でした。

実話に基づく映画。
途中に難題がいくつか発生、全員一致で救出作戦に
あたる、というドラマとしてはベタな作り。ロケットなど特殊撮影はＣＧが生かさ
れている。もう少し構成を工夫すればもっと良くなっていたと思う。
　実際には、閉ざされた宇宙船の中でも感情的にならず、終始冷静だったそうである。
（流石、訓練された宇宙飛行士達）　他にも事実とは違う場面もあるが映画的な演出
をしたのだろう。

アポロ１３号の発射シーンなどは迫力満点。

緊張感に満ちたストーリー。熱き人間の魂の描写。
そして、音楽！
終始美しい映像を流し続ける画面も素晴らしい。
ひとつの使命を果たすため、ひとつの命を守るため、ひとつの夢を守るため、戦った人々に心から敬意を表したい。
文句なし名作です。
