オールディズ・ファンとしては涙の出る邦題。誰が考えたのかな。キャメロン・クロウ監督は「ローリングストーン」誌記者時代から音楽の世界にいるので案内人としては最適役。1973年、「グルービー」のペニー・レインに同行取材。流される曲はサイモンとガーファンクル、ビーチ・ボーイズ、レッド・ツェッペリン、デヴィッド・ボウイ、エルトン・ジョンなど。好きな曲は毎晩聞いている。2000年の米国映画だが、Blu-ray Discならではの精密画面と心揺さぶる音響を堪能できる。

ガタカの発売が待てず、買ってしまいました。

ＤＶＤからブルーレイに買い換えて、暗いシーンがはっきり出てます。
青白い場所と、セピア色の場面の微妙なライティング対比や、
フィルムの質感？が、微妙にザラザラ乾いた感じも出てます。
私は好みですが、人によってはツルツルしてないので嫌と思うかもしれません。
音楽ネタなんで、音のグレードアップも非常に有効で、
サラウンドが、軟らかく暖かい感じで、昔の名曲で包んでくれます。

この映画のＤＶＤを人に貸すと、音楽好きな人でも、洋楽ロックの世界を
知らない人には貸した後、よく質問されます。
グルーピーって？ツアー？、何でプレスを嫌うの？と多少知らない言葉があるかも
しれません。あと、ロックのメンタリティーというか、感性の部分で
何であそこで、ああゆう事するの？と不思議がられる部分もあります。
しかし、基本部分は、ブレイク前のミュージシャンと、遊び好きな女の子の恋愛ドラマなので
音楽に興味が無くても楽しめると思います。
ケイトハドソンは、微妙な役処を巧く演じており、
これ以上、遊び人色を強くすると、唯のバカ女だし、
可愛いく、セクシーじゃないと、ミュージシャンと付き合ってる感じがしないし、見事です。
（天然かもしれませんが・・・・・）
若い頃、年上の女性に憧れた事のある人には、特にお勧めです。
