第３話「死闘」の演出・描写に度肝を抜かれ、すっかりハマってしまったアニメ篇。
（原作も良い。一気に全巻読破してしまった。感動！）

今回は第１５話と１６話。
シリーズ後半に入り、いよいよ動き出す。
サグムが若くして身罷り、シュガは「建国正史」の偽りを解読する。
そしてシュガと狩人たちは、チャグムと短槍使い（バルサ）が生存している確証を得る。
ここで再び「逃げる者と追う者」の構図が復活。

武人としての高い戦闘能力だけではなく、諜報活動にも長けているという
狩人のもうひとつの顔が描かれ、狩人ファンは思わずニンマリ。
彼らの連携プレイはスゴイのひとこと。

脚本・演出・配役、全てにおいてレベルの高い作品。
アニメとしての映像も緻密で素晴らしい。
このシリーズは間違いなく「買い」です。

グダグダ書きません。見てください。傑作です。女用心棒、バルサの男勝りな性格がGOODだ(`д')!

｢ミニパト｣｢攻殻機動隊S.A.C｣の神山健治監督期待の新作でもある本作｡
古めかしくも穏やかな中国のような舞台と3D､2Dを合成させた奥行きのある背景美術､
リアルタッチのキャラデザと凛とした主人公バルサの生き様が世界観を彩っています｡
(総合7.5/10点)

第十五話｢夭折(ようせつ)｣★★★☆☆6/10点
　水の精霊の謎とチャグム自身にさらに一歩踏み込んだ物語です｡シュガのために､
　自分の立場を省みない部下の真摯な助力が光り､完全否定することで肯定をうまく匂わせる
　王子の鋭い洞察力と巧みな話術が見事です｡終幕も無駄な描写を排除して､
　クールに鮮やかな最期を迎えさせるなど､終始静かに魅せる演出が秀でているのに感心しました｡

第十六話｢ただひたすらに｣★★★★★9/10点
　ようやく宮中とバルザ達が接触する緊張感溢れるドラマの再開です｡
　チャグムの足跡を辿るがごとく､かつてバルザを追い詰めた狩人の戦略性､洞察力に
　秀でた描写に圧倒されっぱなしでした｡無駄なく違和感なくトーヤ達に接触する
　彼らの底知れぬキレた作戦と視聴者の緊張をうまく煽る演出も素晴らしい技です｡
