前から気になっていたのですが、廉価版が出たので資料代わりに買いました。

日時と場所を指定して星空を再現したり、星の名前だけ表示したり星座名だけ表示したり、全部消して星だけを堪能したり、ズーム機能もありとても便利です。
いくら説明されても私のような素人はどの星がなんだかわかりませんから(苦笑)
「これが○○座かな？」とあたりをつけて、星座名表示して答え合わせしたりも楽しいです。

太陽系について、石垣島の空、季節ごとの星座などを、音声つきで説明してくれるプラネタリウムのようなモードもあります。

ちょっと星に興味があるけどどの本を買えばいいかわからない、何から調べればいいかわからないなんて方。
是非このソフトで、自分の住んでいる町の星空から調べてみて下さい。

星見の人や天体望遠鏡を持ってる人は買いだと思う。
それ以外なら癒しを求める人、寝る前に見ていますが音楽で寝てしまいます。
天体について勉強にもなります!!
海外ではどんな星が観れるのか?(南半球の国々等)
結構買って損はないと思う

星が見えるだけではありません。空は時刻に応じて明るさも変われば天候も移り変わり、環境音も鳥のさえずりから人々の雑踏、虫の音などへと変化していきます。
時間の早さをリアルタイムに設定すれば、各国各都市のいまの空気を疑似体験することができるでしょう。

私は英BBCのネットラジオを流しつつ、ロンドンの空を映したPSPを部屋の片隅に置いています。
かの地で聴いているかのような雰囲気を味わえると同時に、番組表を見るための世界時計としても役立ちます。
PSPの小さな画面が大きく素敵な窓になりました。
