↓こんな基準でウィルス対策をソフトを選ぶ人には、オススメです。

●ウィルス検出率が高い

●ノートPCでも動作が軽い
（総合的なインターネットセキュリティでなく、基本機能に限定したもの）

上記の3つの条件を満たすソフトの中で最も安いのが、このソフトです。

いまだに家に残るWindows2000パソコン。ウイルスバスター2006のサポート打ち切りで、1台はウイルスバスター2007に替えた(有効期間内で無料)のですが、初期版よりは軽くなったというものの、まだまだ重い！
ウイルスバスター2008とは比較のしようがないのですが(Win2000だとインストール不可能)、ウイルスバスター2007よりは、はるかに快適です。
定義ファイル更新、ウイルススキャンの時間は確かに長い。しかし作動中にインターネット閲覧ぐらいはできます。

Win2000対応で「軽さ」だけを求めるなら、例えばアンラボ製品もありますが、ウイルス検知公開テスト結果をみると相当悪い。御三家(ウイルスバスター、ノートン、マカフィー)はどれも90%以上の成績です。ただし、Win2000対応はマカフィーのみ。

本品は3台まで使用可能なので、WinXPパソコンにも使用しています。今のところ、トラブルなし。
