平凡な少年だった主人公・日和見日郎(ヒロ)は、不慮の事故で死亡する。その場に居合わせた少女「姫」によって仮初めの命を与えられ蘇生したヒロだが、それが原因となって凄惨な戦いに巻き込まれることとなる。
姫は「怪物」を統べる王族の王女であり、兄弟姉妹達の王位争いの渦中にいたのだ。
「血の戦士」として王女に仕える立場となったヒロは、姫の命を狙って次々と現われる怪物達との戦いを続ける中で、次第に姫の隠れた素顔を知っていく。。。

川澄綾子さんって、まほろさんからセイバー〜姫と、まぁなんて守備範囲が広いんでしょう。
同じ声優さんとは思えないとても魅力的な声優さんです。あーそうそう、内容は「怪物くん」の女性版？のような感じで、姫はツンツン系で周りのキャラクターが怪物くんと違って自己主張しあいながらも敵の怪物から姫を助けるといったお話です。もう一人の主人公「ひろ」は頼りないけどやっぱり頼りない、でも憎めないボケ役でしょうか。子供のころに観てた怪物くんを思い出すようななんか嬉し楽しいアニメです。また姫に仕える「フランちゃん」が超かわいい！「ふがーふがー」言って自分のマイブーム的に口に出ちゃいます。皆さんお気をつけて。

エンディングなどは個人的に面白いので好きです。しかし話はどうもなにかが足りません。迫力?展開?見せ方?どれもあてはまりますがつまらなくはないですので暇な時にどうぞ!
