この戦隊の魅力を挙げれば。
まずは、魅力的かつ個性的なキャラの存在感ですね。
「暮らしの中に修行あり」がモットーの可愛い猫師匠、拳聖マスター・シャーフー。声は永井一郎さん!!
戦隊史上最高の美形悪役にして臨獣殿アクガタ首領、若き黒獅子・理央。
理央を愛し、理央の為だけに戦い続けるラブウォーリアー・メレ。演じる平田裕香さんが好演。
理央とメレは悪役ですが、実質的にはゲキブラック&グリーンみたいな扱い。主役級ですね。特にメレは、同性にも大人気らしいですからね。
あの伊藤かずえさんが演じる真咲美希も…アクションを魅せます!!
肝心のゲキレンジャー3人の印象が、やや弱いのが難点でしたが…現在放送中の話を観る限り、徐々に個性が発揮されてきていますね。
そして、戦隊最大の魅力である特撮アクション。
拳法を取り入れたアクションはスピーディーで完成度が高く…創意工夫が随所に見られますね。
ゲキ特撮アクション最大の見せ場が、戦隊ロボ史上最高の動きを魅せる巨大拳士ゲキトージャ。とにかく動きが良い!!
敵の怪人も、近年の戦隊の中では個性的な連中が揃い、毎回の戦いが楽しみ。
これからゲキレンジャーは、もっと面白くなっていくと思うのです。
新たな動物師匠も登場するし。
とにかく…1巻は必ず購入しておきましょう。
「獣拳は、正義の拳!正しき者は必ず勝つ!」

アニバーサリー戦隊のボウケンジャーよりスーパー戦隊魂率の高い我らのゲキレンジャー。バンと塊を足したようなジャンいつも半笑いで眠そうなラン演技が初々しいレツの爽やかな関係はもちろんですが、一番見て欲しいのは巨大マキリカ戦と巨大ギュウヤ戦です。なんですかこのセットは!水張っちゃってるよ!さらに精密に建てられたビルミニチュア郡。ゲキトージャのロボでは無く巨大拳士としてのスタジオ漏電関係あるかぁい的戦いぶりは鳥肌ブァーきます。日本特撮はショボいと感じてるあなたにこそ見てほしい“激気”を感じる事間違いなし。

プロデューサーが『デカレンジャー』『マジレンジャー』の塚田英明氏に戻り、周囲の評判もなかなか良いので、早速1巻目を購入してみたのだが……前記2作に比べると物語のテンポが悪い感じだ。冒頭からいきなり前・後篇というのは戦隊シリーズらしくない。
敵役の理央&メレコンビは実に格好よくて、これは嵌まってしまいそう。ところが、主役のトリオの方はまだ芝居も拙くて、観ていて辛い。そもそも、レッドが知性ゼロの「野生児」で本当にいいのか? 塚田プロデューサーの作る戦隊では皆レッドが単細胞系なのだが、それってドーヨ。
巨大戦の「実況中継」など新しい試みもあり、作劇上の工夫も凝らしているようなので、軽々しい評価は控えるけれども、個人的には昨年の『ボウケンジャー』の方が各キャラクターの魅力で勝っていたと思う。
脇で出ている伊藤かずえさんの出番ももっと増やして欲しいところ。期待料込みで星3つ。
