13話から18話と言うと、ギアはこれまでよりもストーリー側に入り、ここまでの展開からは想像できないような迫力のバトルもあり、アニムスの少女たちが逃れられない残酷な運命も明らかになり、圧倒的な加速感の感じられる辺りです。そして、ケイトが一番可愛かったころでしょうか。恋にバトルに充実しているケイトはいいですね。
ローズがちょっと成長します。全話数の半分を過ぎて、ようやく本当に戦うようになりました。そして、蒸発した父親と再会しました。でも、そこよりも、そうした彼女の放った何気ない言葉がクレアを成長させる構図が好きです。
そのクレアも嫌いな父と会いました。誤解だらけですけど、そんな中的確なアドバイスを続けるユアンはほんといい奴。このアニメ中で一番いい男性キャラではないでしょうか。
レイチェルの恋愛運は相変わらず下降線で、このBOXで破局に至ります。しかし、（偽物でしかない）身体を任せるのにも抵抗感があり、真実を口にすることも出来ないのでは、いかんともしようが無いのかも。この、「身体が偽物」という感覚を理解していないと、彼女たちがどうして記憶にこだわるのかが解らないかも。
リーズにも見せ場がありました。エルヴェに首を絞められるシーンで見せたリーズこそが彼女のポイント。このあと意味のある言葉をしゃべらなくなっていくので、最終回を理解する上でも押さえておく必要があります。
内容的には、★5つ以外つける気がなかったんですけど、オーディオコメンタリーをつける話数と、ゲストとがマッチしていないBOXが二つ続いたので、★ひとつ減らしておきます。エルヴェとリーズの中の人を呼ぶなら、コメンタリーは15・16話につけるべきだと思う。結果的に、コメンタリーの内容も、このBOXというより、作品の結末や全体像を知っている人向けになっていますので、むしろ次のBOXにふさわしい内容ではと。
ゴンゾさんには、作品だけでなく、商品を開発する力を、ちょっと鍛えていただきたいですね。
