2001年に連続テレビ小説として放送され、日本中に沖縄ブームを巻き起こした「ちゅらさん」の第4弾!沖縄の小浜島で訪問看護を行なう上村恵里と、島民たちとの交流を描いた明るく爽やかな人間ドラマ。島に帰ってきた恵里は、夫の文也と医療に勤しんでいた。ある時、父の恵文が家の貯金を使い込んだ事が発覚するが、恵文は理由を言おうとしない…。前編「おはぁの涙(なだ)」、後編「ゆんたく三姉妹」の全2話収録。

ちゅらさんの最新作、ついにDVDで登場です！
懐かしいメンバーが勢ぞろいで、ほのぼのとした人情味にあふれる世界がパワーアップ！
今の日本人が忘れかけた人のあたたかさや、ふれ合いを通した人間愛に満ち満ちています。
初めてちゅらさんを見る方も、根っからのファンの方も楽しめる一作です。

ただ、個人的にはミュージシャンとして返り咲いた恵達に会いたかった・・・。
次回作に期待します。

ちゅらさんもとうとう４を迎えました。久しぶりにこの「４」を見て思ったのは「えりぃたち、しっかり大地に足がついた歩みをしているなあ」と言う事です。この「４」は二回だけなのですが、内容がぎゅっと詰っていて好きです。柴田さんと容子さんファミリーが小浜島に引越しするところから始まりますが、いきなり前編で「恵文さん」演じる堺正章さんと「おばあ」を演じる平良とみさんに泣かされます。恵文さんが内緒で謎の美女に大事なお金を貸した理由が語られます。「お金が無いとおばあと一緒に暮らせないって聞いて・・・オレはおばあがいばっていられないなんて嫌さぁ！一番長く生きてきた人が小さくなって暮らさなくちゃいけないなんて、嫌なわけよ」と来ます。この言葉を真実味を込めて言える堺正章さんは、さすがだなあと思います。

また、後編の「ゆんたく姉妹」。真理亜さんの作品が賞にはいるか？で盛りあがりますが、結果として賞を逃がしてしまった真理亜さんにおばあが「良かったさあ。今年が駄目だって事は、来年があるってことさぁ。そして来年は、ここに来れなかったみんなと一緒にお祝いできるさぁ」このおばあの言葉には参りました。どんな時でも八重山のてぃだ（太陽）のように明るいのはえりぃとおばあだったんだなあと思います。

ちゅらさんは脇役がしっかり固めてあるので、ロングランになってもストーリーがだれることが無い事、そして登場人物の成長がしっかり見られるのがとても魅力的だなあと思います。
