ゆずの路上時代の名曲、そして待望の新曲「春風」。デビューしてからのファンなので聴いたことはなかったけど、何年越しかに聴かせてもらいました。
噂には聴いてたがまさにゆずの王道バラード。切ない歌詞にぐっとくる。岩沢作品だと聞いて高音の伸びやかな曲(「心の音」とか「なにもない」みたいな)かと思ってたが、北川メインのじっくり歌い上げる広がりのある曲。北川の声って決して突出した歌唱力ではないが、すごく大らかに響いてきて安心感がある。音もすごく綺麗で、岩沢のバラードはどこかドライな雰囲気があるがこの曲はとても春らしい暖かさを感じる曲。


過去の名曲を音源化するのは、CDデビュー10年記念にふさわしいよいアイデアだと思う。ゆずは初期作品も名曲ぞろいだし、最近の曲と比べても温度差がない。ゆずの根っこはなんにもかわってない。
ただ早く名盤「リボン」以降の作品も聴きたい。まあ映画にも曲提供したようだしこれからのリリースが楽しみだ。

ご周知の通り横浜の路上出身の彼らですが
『春風』はその路上時代に演奏していた幻の曲です。
これがＣＤで聴けるなんて…
ファンにとっては１０年越しの夢が叶った感じですね。

カップリング曲のスナフキンも、新曲かと思いきや
同じく路上時代に演奏された『流れ者』の改題作というウワサもあります。
（当時手作りで売っていた路上100円テープ『流れ者』のジャケットがスナフキンの絵柄）

まったくの新曲かもしれませんが、
いずれにせよ昔からのファンにはたまらない作品になると思います。

とっても素敵な曲でした。

葉加瀬太郎さんがバイオリンのソロを弾いているのですが、それもまた曲にぴったりで、
春風が吹いてる感じが素敵です！

曲の感じは、懐かしくて素朴であったかい昔のゆずの良さが全開なのに、
そこに葉加瀬さんの美しくてちょっと切ないメロディーが加わってとても心地よいです。

「大事な言葉は今は闇の中　手探りの答えだけ一つ握りしめて」という歌詞が私の好きな所ですが、
このあたりから、葉加瀬さんのバイオリンがかぶりはじめて、そのあとの間奏のメロディーが最高です！
是非バイオリンにも注目して聴いて頂きたいです。
