「歌い手」として椎名林檎を考えたとき　”声量”とか”音程”とか”声の伸び”など

在り来たりの評価基準ではけっして「上手な歌手」ではないのかも知れない。

仮にそうだったとしても、それを補って尚余りある「感性」と言う魅力を私は強く感じます。

以前、過去に一世を風靡した歌い手の「声」を音響工学的に分析をすると独特の「歪み」を

持っていることが、共通しているとの話を聞いたことがあります。

それが事実かどうかは解かりませんが、椎名林檎の歌声を聞くとそんなことを思い出します。

マタタビオーケストラとの競演の前半は、東京事変等のバンドスタイルとは違った

別の「感性」を感じられて、カッコ良く、かわいかったです。

内容とは関係ありませんが演奏部分のみ、ず〜っと鳴っているヒスノイズが耳障りで気になりました。
（ヘッドホンで聞いていますので、静かな曲ではかなり耳につきました。）

後半では、自分の思春期に好きだった長谷川きよしとの競演で、若い林檎との組み合わせが

意外で、新鮮で、懐かしくて、また違う「感性」を聞かせてくれました。

かなり久しぶりに購入した音楽ソフトでしたが、とても良かったと思いました。

うーん、まったく・・・(参った!)。椎名林檎というアーティストには
引き出しが幾つあるのだろう。バリバリのロックから一転して
こんなアレンジでも聴かせてしまう。

前半は斎藤ネコ率いるオーケストラの大音量をバックにして、
林檎の歌声が全く負けることなく届いてくる。
電気的な大音量とは違う、厚みと広がりのあるアコースティックな音の中に、
不思議にしっくりはまる林檎のボーカルに圧倒される。
従来からのファンにも新しい魅力に触れられるはずだ。

後半は長谷川きよしとの共演。これが良い意味で意外だった。
長谷川きよしに関する知識が浅かったこともあるが、
ギター一本で歌う二人のデュエットにはゾクゾクするような感動を覚えた。
長谷川きよしのギターには哀愁の匂いが漂っており、
それが林檎の持つ独特の色にマッチするのかも知れない。
ＭＴＶなどでおこなうアンプラグドのコンサートにも引けを取らない、イヤ、
それ以上に伝わってくる「生音」の響きだ。
エンディングがまた憎い。
林檎がなぜ長谷川きよしと共演したかったかが分かるような、グッと来る演奏と歌に、
私のようなおじさん世代は震えるほどの感動を覚えるかも知れない。
ただ、若者にもこれが伝わるのか？は不安。
林檎の理解者ならそれもあり得るのか・・・。

このライブ会場に行ってみたかった！次の林檎のコンサートに行ってみよう!―――
そう思わせられた作品。

１９５６年産の小生、今年の誕生日に次男から貰ってそのままにしていました。
ふと、思いついて手にして、観まして驚きました。エネルギーがほとばしって
ました。長谷川きよしさんのギター凄いですね。最初から最後までビックリし
ながらアッという間に終わりました。元気がでますね。
