通算、3枚目となるオリジナルアルバムです。
安藤裕子ファンが首を長〜くして待ち望んでいた、珠玉の12曲。

最高傑作と言い切ってもいいと思います。
自信を持って、この『shabon songs』という作品をおススメしますよ♪

今作も、リストに含まれたシングルは2曲のみで、初出の曲が10曲もありましたが、どれも、
シングルの『TEXAS』や『The Still Steel Down 』と、何ら変わることのない存在感を放っています。
アルバムのときにこのようなハイレベルな初出曲がたくさん聴ける、というのも、
安藤裕子の魅力であり、彼女のシンガーソングライターとしての確かな実力の証しです。
58分間という時間にぎっしりと詰められたそれぞれの楽曲の魅力が、
互いを生かしあって、高めあって、一枚の素晴らしい作品を創りあげています。
もともとの曲の良さに加えて、安藤裕子の歌声を昇華させる演奏陣は今作でも健在。
総じて、完成度の高い、珠玉のアルバムです。

安藤裕子の新作を聴くたびに言っていることなんですが、今作も、
ファンならずとも、買って絶対損はしない一枚です。
たしかな価値を、その手にぜひ取ってみてください。

ポップスの王道を進むアーティストになるかもしれない。

初めの音が聞こえた瞬間、そう感じた。
そしてそれが当たり前のように進んでいく。
これはとても素晴らしいアルバムだ。

ある種トーンがおさえられた楽曲、おもちゃ箱のような楽曲、
そして光が差し込んでくるような楽曲。
どれもこれも「安藤裕子」その人を現している。
制作そしてライヴといった活動を通じて彼女自身からでてくるものや「核」、
そしてミュージシャンとの「絆」がさらに深くなってきたのだろう。
そこに一体感すら感じられる。

shabon songs、というアルバムタイトルはとても絶妙だ。

泡のようにふっと出ては消え、消えては現れるような彼女のヴォーカルが
とても心地よく、また何度聞いても飽きの来ない仕上がりを見せている。

そう、このアルバムは何度聞いても飽きないのである。

本当にとても丁寧に作られたアルバムだ。
一つ一つの音に耳を傾けて欲しい。ものすごく細かいレベルでも
聞くたびに発見があったり、別の角度で面白いと思えるものが出てくる。
そういうアルバムはなかなか出会えるものではない。

だからこそ、是非聞いてもらいたいアルバムである。

今回のアルバムはファーストとセカンドとはまた違ったいい曲が沢山ありました。『雨唄』『絵になるお話』『“I“novel.』『安全地帯』が今のところお気に入りです!シングル曲2曲も勿論ですが、アルバムを通して明るくそして落ち着いた印象を受けました。歌い方もセカンドアルバムは割と大袈裟なかんじでしたが今回は素直に歌詞をなぞるような歌い方をしており非常に好感を持てました。普段何気なく流していたくなるアルバムですよ♪ただいつも楽しみにしているジャケットや歌詞カードのアートワークが控え目だったのが残念です。でも、アルバムの曲については捨て曲なしの素晴らしい出来だと思います。過去に出たアルバムに比べて明るめな曲が多いのでぜひ聞いてみて下さい!
