　グラミー賞を総なめしたファーストアルバムは衝撃的だったけど、３作目の本作品は曲調に変化が乏しく、悪く言えばマンネリだ。でも、よく聴くと歌唱法が丁寧になりやっぱり進化している。
　この人の最大の魅力は声質だと思う。これは天才的で、ナッシュビル系のカントリームードに裏打ちされた現代的癒し感は健在である。
　歌手は歌が上手くて、作詞作曲が時代に合えばそれでいいのだけれども、もっと上を望むならバンドが上手くなくては。ノラは過去の２作共ハンサムバンドを起用しているが、シャープさにかけると思う。自身のピアノは決して上手とはいえないから、第４作目のＣＤは歌手に完全特化してバンドは一流のスタジオミュージシャンに変えてみたらどうか。
　またＰＶもアイデアが古く、いわゆる趣味の世界を脱していない気がした。映像にももっとグレードの高いプロを投入すべきだろう。

アメリカ国内で20ドル前後で発売しているので決して高くはない。まあ〜 DVDが必要でない方には無縁ですが、ノラのファンでしたらこれが一番いいのではないかな！？

曲も繰り返し聴いているとなかなか心地よくなってきますよ。

今度はいつリリースされるのかわからないから、当分「Not Too Late」をじっくり楽しむのがベストでしょう。そう、今からでも遅くはありません！考え直して買ってみたら？！私はお薦めします！！

　とても聞き心地のよいアルバムです。デラックス版だけのＤＶＤの内容は非常にすばらしく買って絶対後悔することはありません。すごくお買い得です。
　アルバムタイトルの"Not too late"というタイトル（まだ手遅れじゃない！）や、２曲目の"Sinkin' Soon "の歌詞（船長がダメな奴だから船が沈みそうだ！）などから、ブッシュ政権への痛烈な批判がアルバムの裏テーマとしてあることが読み取れます。そんな今のアメリカの雰囲気を感じ取れるところも興味深いアルバムです。
