実際にプレイしてみての感想を書いてみたいと思います。
まず酷評の多いアニメですが、基本的に慣れてしまえばあまり気にならなくなってきます。しかしストーリーモードのOPEDのアニメがああだと、結構やる気を削がれるのも事実。
次にストーリー。メイン、外伝合わせて8武将いますが、これは誰でも楽しめます。
が、やはり腐女子向けだなーと思ってしまう箇所も幾つか。これは致し方ないのですが…。
あと、気になった点を。
新たにPC昇格したキャラの中で、ストーリーモードがない家康、今川、本願寺、氏政は技が2つしかありません。
これは手抜きなのか、否か…ちょっと考えてしまいますね。(武蔵もそうだったのですが)
それと、2人プレイ時の処理落ち。敵の多いマップ(例えばけんか祭など)だと、結構気になります。
そして2人プレイが可能になったため(?)、+1HITするアイテムや装備などが消えたり効果が変わったりしています。
これらは仕方ない…のですかね。

最終的に、最初はダメでも結局は慣れで何とかなることが多いです。
ただ、定価で買うには追加要素が少ないかもしれません。
長々と失礼しました。

シリーズは通して遊んでます。

今作で増えた新使用可能キャラクターは

お市 浅井長政 片倉小十郎 風魔小太郎
徳川家康 今川義元 北条氏政 本願寺顕如

です。ですが、２行目の４キャラには固有技がそれぞれ二つずつしか
なく、かなりがっかりさせられます。家康、顕如にいたっては通常技コンボも
既成キャラのコンパチです。

ストーリーモードは「ストーリー」、「外伝ストーリー」とあり、
全部で８キャラ８種です。上の新使用可能キャラの１行目のキャラに加えて
正宗など４人分です。それ以外のキャラのストーリーモードはありません。
なので、今作は前作を必ずしも吸収はしてないので、その点にご注意。

総論ですが、前作から時間がたった割りには
変更点、進歩した点などが少なく不満が残ります。
天下統一モードなどで遊ぶ事になるマップも、前作で
さんざん遊び倒したものばかりなので、正直退屈に感じました。

シリーズに期待はしているので、カプコンさんには
失礼ながら猛省していただきたい。
大負けに負けて星３つ。

　僕はバサラシリーズを１からやっているのですが、HEROESはゲームとしての完成度は高いと思います。
　
　無双シリーズよりも、シンプルで、爽快感を味わえます。

　ですが…ムービー、キャラ選択画面などアニメに変わったことで、安っぽくなりましたし、アニメの質があまりにも悪い。CGの方がかっこよかったです。

　あと使えるようになった敵武将の一部が、宮本武蔵と同じで固有技が二つしかない。全武将を平等に作って欲しかったです。

　ゲームとしては最高です。今のお気に入りは風魔です。松永久秀は使用できないのか？残念。
