かつて加藤ひさしは｢生きるために　生きるのさ｣と歌った。　最初聴いたとき、なんて都合のいい言い回しかと呆れ、と同時にストンと胃の腑に落ちた。　そう、何でもはっきり言葉に転化しないと伝わらないと思っている(そしてそれは一つの真実で、全然OK)西洋と、言わなくたって阿吽で、アイコンタクトや表情や口調で感じ取ってしまう東洋（つーか日本…でもないか、今は）の隔たりにちょっと捉われてしまったのだが、とにかく本当にピキッときた。　そうだよそうそうそうなんだよ!!　いかにも情緒的な日本人的反応と笑いたければ笑え。　ギターもベースもドラムも歌唱も最高でこれこそロックと信じて学生時代から聴き続けてきたバンドのDVDボックスがとうとう出た。　一枚目を観た。　家族がいたので何とかギリギリで泣かなかったが、力強く生きていく人達の姿に本当に感動した。　映画だのコメディだのドキュメンタリーだの他にも多くの映像を観てきたがここまでグッと来たのは初めてだ。　数々の苦難がありながら生き続けていく姿勢と力をオーディエンスにカッコよく、絶え間なく伝え・与え続けるバンド。　そしてこれからもそうであり続けるというマニフェスト。他のディスク、またインディーズ時代のバキバキでナイスな音像のCDも最高と付す。
