5.0 out of 5 stars ハワイ語とクリスマスソングは嬉しい驚き！, 2006/12/5
ケアリィレイシェルのクリスマスソング集です。いつものウクレレはなくアコースティックギター中心ですが、これがまた素晴らしい。ケアリィの透明感のある声と、いわゆる定番でない選曲のクリスマスソングがぴったりです。
有名なところではSilent Night 、O Holy Night もありますが、ハワイ語でのKe Au Maluhia、Ke Aloha Kalikimakaが、E O Maiのようなゆったりとしたハワイと、神秘的なホワイトクリスマスが一緒になったような嬉しい驚きです。
全体的にスローテンポな曲が多く、チャットもありませんが、Ka Nohona Pili Kaiのお好きな方には違和感なく、また従来のファンの方も、こんなケアリィもいいなという感じで気に入っていただけると思います。
その他、個人的にはRemind Me of Homeが良かったです。車でワイキキの郊外に出ると、ちょっと入ったところによくある平屋の暖かい家の雰囲気が感じがられます。ハワイに実家があったらこんな感じだろうなという、ほっとする感じがあります。
また、ジャケットも裏面や中の歌詞カードがいい感じです。子供の頃プレゼントをもらって大喜びのケアリィの写真がありますが、嬉しさが伝わってきます。今も面影がありますね。
ちょっとお酒でも飲みながら最後までゆっくり聞くと、胸が熱くなり涙が出そうになります。メリークリスマス！
季節ものですが、買って損はありません。

アルバムのタイトル「マルヒア」は、ハワイ語で「平和な、穏やかな」という意味だそうです。幾つかの曲の中に、この言葉が出てきてキーワードになっており、言葉通りにとっても穏やかな暖かさに満ちたアルバムになっています。
　ケアリイが故郷マウイ島の教会で昔よく聞いたお気に入りの讃美歌「ヌオリ」に始まり、子供の頃にいつも休日を過ごした祖母の家を思い出す歌「リマインド・ミー・オブ・ホーム」、そして聞きなれたクリスマスソング「ホーリーナイト」「サイレントナイト」なども、素敵なアレンジとケアリイの甘い歌声で、素晴らしい歌になっています。
　恋人と過ごすクリスマスとはまた違う、子供の頃に家族で楽しく賑やかに過ごしたクリスマスを思い出しました。夜聞くと、とても穏やかで満たされた気持ちになれます。よく巷にあるクリスマスアルバムと違って、落ち着いた大人の雰囲気なので、クリスマスシーズンだけでなく、いつ聞いても心温まる良いアルバムだと思いました。

レイシェルの優しい歌声、ハワイの風〜

彼が家族へ心を込めて歌うクリスマスソング♪
柔らかくて緩やかで安心出来るようでした。

静かで、暖かな灯りをともしたい人にオススメ(*^ｰﾟ)ﾉ


お一人さまのステキ時間にも
大切なパートナーとの時間にも
家族や仲間と過ごす時間にも
Keali'i Reichelの歌声は、静かな時を運んできます。

ハワイのクリスマスは、アロハシャツにビーサン。
あの時期を一度過ごすと、帰りたくなる。
あのゆるーくて穏やかな時間が日本でもほしい…。

ちょっとした恋しさが
気持ちの中に芽を出すよう(〜_〜*)
