コールド・ブラッド・・・不動のカリスマ的バンド。
なのに日本では、不思議なほど、コアなファンしか知らないんですよね。
本作はその中でもまさに名盤。乗せまくり聴かせまくり。何も言うことはありません。
こういうCDを廃盤にするのはホント罪ですよ・・・。

日本のロックファンで知っている人は少数でしょう。むしろファンクの好きな人にオススメ。タワー・オブ・パワーと並ぶベイ・エリア・ファンクの最高峰で、プロデュースはあのダニー・ハサウェイ！これでピンとこなければ、ジャミロクワイやレニー・クラヴィッツのルーツのひとつ、といってもいいでしょう。７４年作品なので、やや音に古さもあるけれど、ブラスを含めた９人組のアンサンブルの見事さ、ダンサブルなノリの良さは一級品。とりわけリディア・ペンス（女性です）の歌はヤンキーなねーちゃん丸出しの勢いで、かなり聴かせます。
