高校野球部の監督に就任し、チームを甲子園へと導いていくシュミレーションゲームです。
高校選び、校歌の作成、ユニフォーム作成などを経て就任となります。一日毎にできる監督コマンドでは、全体、個別ミーティングをしたり、マネージャーと話をすることができ、選手の投打の転向、他校調査、人材発掘、校内散策、キャプテン指名、教訓設定、ＯＢ訪問など様々なことができます。他には、選手一人一人の練習メニューの設定、コンバート、スケジュール設定、機材購入など本当にチームのこと全てをやるといった感じです。
試合では、サインを出したり、伝令、選手の交代だけですが、最初はなかなかサインも伝わらず勝てません。監督の能力、選手の度胸という能力が試合では非常に重要です。まさに心技体全てを鍛えていかないと勝てないゲームです。
監督コマンドで何をするかが、非常に重要となっていると思います。野球部でない登場人物もたくさんいて、飽きさせません。就任期間が10年ですが、それをいい形で終わるとさらにプラスアルファが・・・。
ロード時間も短く、サクサクと遊べ、ゲームバランスも良く、素晴らしいゲームだと思います。シュミレーションが好きで、野球にも興味のある人には是非ともオススメです。
