 「機動警察パトレイバー2」からイングラム1号機がリボルテックに登場。

   リボルテックは、毎月2種同時発売となる、「コレクタブル」フィギュアコレクションシリーズ。漫画家内藤泰弘氏とデザイナー神宮司訓之氏によるトイブランド「TOYTRIBE/トイトライブ」の発案による、「リボルバージョイント」を採用。「リボルバージョイント」は、カチカチという快いクリック音とともに大きな角度で曲がり、どんな角度に曲げてもその状態を確実に保持、何度も曲げるとへたるという可動関節の問題点を解消した、新コンセプトの汎用ジョイントパーツ。可動部以外は抜き差し自由なシンプルな構造で、違うフィギュアの四肢を入れ替えることも可能、同じジョイントをあらゆるモチーフのフィギュアに転用できるなど、新たな可能性を秘めた“革命的な”パーツなのだ。
   シリーズの造形はすべて、山口式可動の発明＆実践者山口勝久が手がける。リボルバージョイントという関節部を共通化することにより、クオリティとリーズナブルな価格帯を実現しているシリーズだ。

シリーズとの相性が良くなさそうなデザインで多少不安だったのですが、杞憂だったようです。
ところどころヒケが目立ってしまっている以外はイングラムのイメージをうまく再現できています。
布でカバーされている設定の関節部分も違和感が大きいのは膝裏程度におさえられています。
素立ちっぽいおとなしめのポーズから銃を両手で構えた派手なポーズまでうまく決まりますが、
太腿の回転軸の保持力と腰のぐらつきにはやや不安が残ります。
地味な点ですが、首が頭側の付け根と肩側の付け根の両方で可動して、
独特なデザインを自然なラインで動かせるように処理されているのが秀逸です。
スタンスティックはシールド裏に収納できますが、取り出しにくくなってしまうので要注意。
肩の細いアンテナにスペアが付属するのは嬉しい配慮です。
パッケージ写真等とは違って大腿上部とスネ外側の穴が埋められて省略されていますが、
わりと印象に残る部分なのでなんとか再現して欲しかったところです。

プロポーションは良いと思う。
安いし、グリフォンなんかと揃えたくなる。
ただ、股関節の角度はもちょっと考えて欲しかった。
山口可動なのだから、足を大きく開いたケレン味のあるポーズが売りなのはわかる。
エヴァンゲリオンなら、膝を開いて前屈みに腰を落とした姿勢もよく似合う。
グリフォンもそれで良いかもしれない。
けど、イングラムなら足は肩幅くらいですっと立つ姿勢をとりたい。
柔道で言うところの自然体という奴。
腰を落とすときも膝は開かない。
そう言うときに、この股関節の回転面はかなり困る。
一応、脚上部に２自由度があるけれど、無理に膝を閉じるとどうにも変な形になる。
それがどうにも残念。
でも、それ以外は問題なし。
エヴァよりずっとでかい足なのに、転倒防止のスタンドまで付いてくる。
至れり尽くせり。

まさかイングラムを立体で再び見ることができるとは…
迷わず注文、そして本日届きました。
リボルテックシリーズを購入するのは初めてでしたが、
さすがに前評判通り動く動く。プラモでは再現できなかった
アレやらコレやら、思い描いていたポーズが再現できる楽しさ。
しばし時を忘れて遊んでしまいました。うーん、楽しい。
この値段でこれだけ遊べるモノが入手できるとは、
良い時代になったものです。

強いて問題点を挙げるなら、
◎腰パーツの固定が弱く、スポスポ抜ける
◎ライアットガンが付いてない
◎肩部パトライト、頭部カメラ部分がクリアパーツじゃない
◎山口式可動に慣れるのにちょっと時間がかかる
・・・あたりですかね。
いや、でもコレは買って損なしだと思います。
コストパフォーマンスの高い商品だと思います。
