あのゲームで流れてた曲やSEをこれでもかと詰め込んだ贅沢なアレンジアルバム
ステレオでなくモノラルでわざわざ出すあたりにもこだわりを感じざるを得ません
YMOにゼビウスとか色々卑怯ですもっとやってください

4.0 out of 5 stars ハイセンスなファミコン風サウンドで、きっちりユルユル極まってます, 2006/8/17
知り合いのライターにサンプルを聴かせてもらいました。
チップチューンといえばＹＭＣＫなどが有名ですが、こちらの8bit Project はヴォーカルは入っていないものの、その分、本物のファミコンゲームのＢＧＭで使われていそうな雰囲気が楽しめますね。
パラレルワールドで'70年代にすでにファミコンがあれば確かにＹＭＯのゲームも出てそうですし（なんと松武秀樹がゲスト参加した曲もあり）、キング・クリムゾンのようなプログレもＢＧＭで使われたかも知れません。
参加メンバーもゲームやテクノの「本職」が名を連ねているだけあって、けしてレトロゲームブームに乗っただけの企画モノではない音として、繰り返し聴くと様々な発見があります。

8bitでヒット曲をカバーというコンセプトは、
どうも60年代のシンセサイザーミュージックとカブってしまい、
単なる便乗商品の印象が否めない。
8bitを謳っていながら鳴っている音は現行のシンセ音満載で
「どうせ、それっぽい音が鳴ってれば皆わからないだろ」的な
適当さが満載。バカにされている気がした。
