発売前のレビューを見て購入をためらいましたが、思い切って買ってみました。はっきりいって良かったです。コートの充実度、そのコート毎の違った雰囲気、選手のしぐさ、打球音、球種などなかなかに拘りがあります。選手の発する声も「常時」や「白熱時」など選択可能。ナイスショットや逆にポイントをとられた時のパフォーマンスもいくつかその度に選べます。細かいところまで気遣っているのは感心します。逆に欠点としては「選手がやや似てない」「リプレイがない」「ボールが選手に当たりすぎる（実戦ではまず当たらないような玉に当たる。特にCOM）」「たまに打ち方が変」などでしょうか。でも、総じてかなりはまっています。やはりRANK200から上を目指すキャリアが面白いですね。

テニスゲームをする前に、
絶望的に繰り返される地獄のロード時間に耐える事が重要なゲーム。
何をそんなに読み込んでいるんでしょうか？
ヘタッピなうちはゲーム時間よりもロード時間の方が圧倒的に長いでしょう。
ゲームとして評価する以前の問題です。

XBOX版のTopSpinはシリアスなテニスゲーとして、かなり人気だったし、
僕も好きだった作品だったんですが、このTopSpin2はどうしたものかなぁ・・・。

まず操作性が悪い。前作の簡単だけど真剣にテニスができるゲームはどこへ行ったのやら。
次にグラフィック。まぁ、進化は間違いなくしてるけど、次世代か？と聞かれるとそうでもないと思う。
テニスプレイヤーのモデリングもイマイチですね。せっかくシャラポワがいるのにね。

まぁ、例の如く海外の評価も凄く悪いです。Liveやってる人もいません。
日本で発売してくれるということに関しては素直にうれしいのですが、
オススメはできません。
