   富野監督の「オーバーマン　キングゲイナー」の主役メカが可動フィギュアとしてリボルテックに登場。独創性溢れるデザインを活かしつつ、洗練された山口式可動とリボルバージョイントによりアクションが可能に。

   リボルテックは、毎月2種同時発売となる、「コレクタブル」フィギュアコレクションシリーズ。漫画家内藤泰弘氏とデザイナー神宮司訓之氏によるトイブランド「TOYTRIBE/トイトライブ」の発案による、「リボルバージョイント」を採用。「リボルバージョイント」は、カチカチという快いクリック音とともに大きな角度で曲がり、どんな角度に曲げてもその状態を確実に保持、何度も曲げるとへたるという可動関節の問題点を解消した、新コンセプトの汎用ジョイントパーツ。可動部以外は抜き差し自由なシンプルな構造で、違うフィギュアの四肢を入れ替えることも可能、同じジョイントをあらゆるモチーフのフィギュアに転用できるなど、新たな可能性を秘めた“革命的な”パーツなのだ。
   シリーズの造形はすべて、山口式可動の発明＆実践者山口勝久が手がける。リボルバージョイントという関節部を共通化することにより、クオリティとリーズナブルな価格帯を実現しているシリーズだ。

　髪の毛のパーツ一つ一つを自由自在に動かせるので、流れるようなポーズが実によく決まる。
が、チェンガンを持たせた時の手の保持力がイマイチなのが少し気になった。
また、スタンドにはあまり期待し無い方がいい。値段相応という感じであまり過激なポーズはとれない。

　造形にはなんの不満も無かった…ただ一つ首を除いては。
首のジョイントが長過ぎるため、うつむき加減ではサマになるが
正面を向かせると首元がスカスカで、マヌケなのだ。
これは、首に使われているジョイントの頭側を少しばかり切って短くすることで改善できる。
　
　誰でも出来るような加工だが、万が一失敗したら嫌だなあというような場合には、
もう一つ本体を余分に買い、腕のジョイントを流用する方法もある。
ジョイント一個のために本体買うの？という話になるが、
フォトンリングもチェンガンもスタンドも二つになり、遊びの幅も広がるので、
キンゲ大好き！という人なら悪くない選択かもしれない。

ぐいんぐいん動き回る劇中イメージを持つキングゲイナーというキャラクター(敢えてメカとは呼ばずにおいてみる)とリボルバージョイントの親和性は、既発のエヴァシリーズより上ではないでしょうか。
立たせていると他の方も指摘されているとおり首の長さだけがほんの少し気になりますが、それも遊んでいる間はさほど気になりません。PVC可動ものにはつきものの『動かしているうちに関節がねじ切れる』心配もリボルバージョイントならほぼ皆無。
※追記：12/26現在の販売分では首の長さに関して何らかの改修が加わっている模様です。

強いて難を挙げるならば、プレイアビリティに関してはチェンガンがうまく腰にマウントしにくい点、造形面ではジョイントのクリアランスを取るため手の親指が太く不自然な点(これは他のリボルテックシリーズにも共通して言えることですが)ぐらいでしょうか。

なによりこれほど良質のオモチャが安価で手に入れられる今が幸せです。

アニメ「オーバーマン　キングゲイナー」のファンですので、
先のレビューでもみみなさんほぼ満足されているようでしたし、さほど迷わず購入。
もちろん私も大満足です。
先のレビューにあるような細かいマイナス箇所は確かにありますが、
この価格なら問題ないかと。
どうしても気になったり、こだわりがあるのであれば、
修正なり改造なりすればすむことです。
そうゆう技術がない人が気にするほどの、問題はないはずです。
ちなみに私が手にした個体は、首関節の本体側の受け穴にずれがありましたので、
皆さんご指摘の首が長く見えるのもあわせて、少し手を加えましたが。
あと、私は、ほかのフィギュアや、プラモデルでもそうなのですが、
少し遊んだ後は、気に入ったポーズで立たせたあと、
ほとんどさわらないので、一応☆は入れましたが、
耐久性の評価は控えさせていただきたいので、その評価は無視してください。
