アーティストについて

アブドゥライ・ジャバテ(ピアノ)セネガル出身。セネガルの国立音楽学校で学んだ後、ジャズに傾倒。サリフ・ケイタのバンドのピアニストとしても知られ、マヌ・ ディバンゴ、モリ・カンテらとも共演。コラ・ジャズ・トリオのリーダーでもある。
ジェリ・ムサ・ジャワラ(コラ)ギネア出身。西アフリカを代表する民俗弦楽器コ ラの達人。伝統的なスタイルはもちろんのこと、サルサやフラメンコまで取り入れた 独自のスタイルを確立ジャンルを超えたアーティストとの共演でも知られる。アメリカのギタリスト、ボブ・ブロッズマンとの競演盤も話題。
ムサ・シソコ(パーカッション)セネガル出身。セネガルを代表するパーカッショ ン・ファミリーの一人。伝統的なスタイルはもちろんのこと、その幅広い音楽性でピー ター・ゲイブリエル、トゥレ・クンダ、マヌ・ディバンゴらのバックも務める。

お気に入りのＧＲＯＵＰと音です。知らないで3作目を購入しました。驚いて続いて1作目、2作目をまとめて購入しました。１、２、３をまとめて聞いていますが、変わらない音を出し続けていますね。悪い言い方をすると、進歩がない？でもそうは、思いません。お気に入りの5星です。
