前々から見ようと思っていた「さよなら、クロ」。
今回価格が安くなってＤＶＤ再発売されたので、購入して見てみました。
全編通して愛らしいクロの名演技をベースに、主人公たちの切ない純愛ストーリーが心に響く作品です。
また、クロとかかわった様々な人々の人間模様も感動的でした。
何だかかつての吉永小百合青春物語を彷彿とさせる映像や雰囲気で、懐かしさに溢れていますね。
当時はまだ純愛全盛期だったんです。信州の山々も美しい！！
俳優たちも当時の学生の素朴さを上手く演じていたと思います。
クロもさることながら主演の伊藤歩の演技力にはやられました！！
ラストの雪子のセリフがとても素晴らしかったですね。
派手な演出はなく、大泣きするほどの感動はなかったですが、
心の奥底にいつまでも響く素晴らしい作品だと思います。
最後に、主演の妻夫木聡は時代設定が同じ「６９」にも主演していますが、
絶対この作品の方が似合っていると思いました。

松岡監督はたしかPFF出身ですよね。自主出身にしては商業映画の最低レベルはクリア出来る職人監督には成長したと思います。しかしこのさよならクロや東京タワーをへて最近作の歓喜の歌に至る松岡映画の系譜はあまりにもそつなさ過ぎるといいますか、悪く言えば芸のない作品が続いています。毒にも薬にもならない別に見なくてもいい映画ですね。

犬好きでワンコ目当てで観ると拍子抜けがする映画。

実話に基づく映画化ということですが、クロに関しては黒い野犬が学校に住み着くというだけのストーリー。
クロが元の飼い主に捨てられるくだり(涙シーン)がありますが、その場面は全くの想像です。(犬は証言できませんから…)


物語の中心は学生達の淡い恋愛や青春ドラマです。

時々、クロがチラチラ出てきます。

洋画の動物映画では往年の「ベンジー」「ラッシー」などは明らかに動物が主人公ですが、クロの場合は、物語の語り部的な存在。主役ではありません。

監督は映画「東京タワー」などで味のある演出をみせる松岡氏なので、昔懐かしい空気の再現には素晴らしいものがありますが…。

犬ファンにはあまりお薦めできません。
エンディングの曲もクロとは全くの関係がなく…昔懐かしい青春映画の幕切れといった感じ。

クロよ！！どこへ行ったのか！！！
クロの存在感の希薄さに鑑賞中に「さよならクロ…」とつぶやいてしまいました。
