スキルが向上しても長く付き合え、かつ、価格面でも負担の少ないFlashコンテンツ編集ソフトを使いたい人や、ウェブサイトデザイン業界でも通用する汎用性の高いスキルを磨きたい人は、迷わずに、というか、最初から本製品を選ぶべきだ。そう断言してよい。
これは、競合製品と比べると機能面における妙な制限がない点と、培われたスキルをプロの現場でも流用できる点がその理由となっている。
使用した印象では、インターフェースや動画作成機能は、プロ御用達のプロフェッショナル版と同一と見てよい。また、アクションスクリプトも、プロフェッショナル版とほぼ同等の機能を実装しているので、そちらの勉強をしたい人にとっても本製品は魅力的だ。加えて、プロ御用達の製品だけあって、参考資料、お手本となる作品、技術情報、ユーザーの多さなど、学習環境が充実している面も見逃せない。
気になる「制限されている機能」は、外部ビデオファイルの高度な制御や、外部データベースシステムの操作など、個人利用目的ではあまり使われないものだけとなっている。

実力がついたら、上位版の「CS4」にグレードアップするのもよいだろう。
