   すべての海上保安官の中でわずか1％の人間しか到達できない海難救助のエキスパート“潜水士”。海上保安官14名が死と隣合わせでもあるこの“潜水士”を目指して、50日間に及ぶ極限の訓練に挑んでいくことになるのだが、ある哀しい事故が起きて…。
   最近ひねた演出が目立つ中で、この映画では驚くほど素直な演出を見せている。直球すぎて、キスシーンにジャーニーの主題歌が重なる場面などは、見てて照れてしまうほど。だがそれゆえに辛く苦しい訓練に耐え、1人前の潜水士になろうとする男たちの友情にストレートに感動して泣ける。さらに実際に出演者は合宿状態で過ごし、役名で呼びあうなど訓練生同様の生活をしたおかげで、カナヅチだった伊藤淳史は潜れるように。そのドキュメンタリーのような要素がドラマに深味を与えている。（横森 文）

感動です！！
テレビドラマでやっていた頃も全部見てましたが、今回５月６日に
ロードショウされる前にとDVDを買ってきて息子と見ました。
何度も涙が出てきました。
少したつとまた見たくなるシーンばかりで未公開映像や
インタビューなども面白かったです。
出演者達の素顔が見れて尚感動しました。
『MINIT OF LOVE 海猿』早く見に行かなくては・・・ですね。

５０日間の厳しい訓練の末に、海上保安庁で海難救助にあたる潜水士を目指す若者たちの姿を描く青春ドラマ。主人公の仙崎大輔を演じる伊藤英明は、なかなかの当たり役ではないかと思う。熱血の主人公と冷徹な同僚とのライバル関係とか、バディの死からくるトラウマを乗り越えて一人前になるとか、いかにも類型的なストーリー展開。類型的であることは悪くはないが、盛り上がるべきところで少しもハラハラドキドキしない生ぬるさはいただけない。海上保安官の任務とか、海難救助の現場とか、その辺りの描写がないので、単なる部活の特訓のように感じてしまう。訓練生たちがやたらとお尻を出すのも、何だかなあ。しかしこの手の題材は結構好きなので、ＴＶドラマも見たくなってしまった。

海上保安庁の潜水士なんてマニアックな職業をテーマにしてる割には、そこそこ楽しめる作品だと思う。
時間も長すぎず、短すぎず、良くまとまっていると思う。
同僚との考え方の違いや、誤解、友人の死を目の当たりにするなど主人公がいくつもの壁を乗り越えていくさまは誰もが感動し、共感できるのではないでしょうか？
がんばっている人を応援したくなる作品だと思います。
