スピッツ初心者なので正直知らない曲もありました。ごめんなさい。
今回デビューから通してのシングル集が発売され、すべて聴くことが出来たのはうれしいです。

一枚目からずっと、草野さんの作る曲はこれでもか！って位変化がない。
でもアレンジの雰囲気が変化している！
その時その時のバンドの状況や、取り組んだ新しい試みとかが現れてるみたい。

少し控えめであったり強く押し出す感じ、POPであったりロックであったり。
具体的にはシンセやホーンの使い方とか。

曲に変化がないっていうのはもちろんいい意味であって、
彼が歌いたい、伝えたいイメージにブレがあまりないからだと思う。
意図的だとしても、どの曲も受け入れられ、ヒットしている。
彼の楽曲が愛されてる証拠ですよね！

スピッツは草野さんだけじゃなく、メンバーも合わせてスピッツなんだなぁ、と
感じる事ができました。
初心者は入り口として、ファンには新しい発見と、美味しいCDだと思います。

うぉぉお〜！と悶絶したくなるほど、素晴らしすぎる名曲の数々！！文学的な歌詞、美しいメロディ、キラキラと輝くギターの音色、タイトなリズム隊…ロックバンド、スピッツの力量をこれでもかと見せ付けられる１５曲を収めた、スピッツのベスト盤Part2です。

前半バラードが続くので、ちょっと似た曲が多いな〜という感じは無きにしもあらず、ですが、それを差し引いてもあり余るほどの楽曲の良さで全く気になりません。『夢追い虫』のようなカッコイイギターロック曲もあるし。

あと、やっぱり草野マサムネ氏の歌詞は良いですね！『正夢』は泣けるなぁ…あと『春の歌』。こんなに希望を感じさせる曲に出会えて、ひたすら感謝。

テレビ番組で使われたりして、まだ記憶に新しい曲もあれど『らしさ』は変わっていません。
曲調が最近のものになってもこれはスピッツなのだ。
それを再認識しました。
