Xbox　Liveを使いアーケード版でも出来なかったオンラインでの対戦が可能になりました。
マッチングシステムで自分にあった対戦相手も探せます。戦闘結果を集計したランキングにも対応します。
マーケットプレイスでレアゾイドをダウンロード可能になります。2006年4月~2007年2月まで毎月1体づつ順次追加予定です。
もちろんオフラインでもストーリーモードや2人対戦が楽しめます。
ゾイドカードコロシアムのレアカードがパッケージ内に同梱。

このゲームはアーケードの移植ですが、アイテムの出現率が極端に悪く、お気にのキャラを出すのに、凄く苦労を伴う。操作方法はすぐになれるし、問題はないが、個人的に凹むことが多し。まずゾイドの鳴き声とかが、原作と違ったり、BP（ゲーム内の金）の貯まりにくさにイライラすし、オフラインの対戦の方法がめんどい。これさえ改善されればいいと思う。

アーケードで稼動中のアクションゲーム、ゾイドインフィニティEXの家庭用移植版。XBOX360の性能を生かしたオンライン対戦やハイビジョン対応の映像出力など、対戦ツールとしての完成度はアーケードのそれを上回ると思われる。
不安要素としては、去年発売されたPS2版はシステムが改悪されていたことやアーケード版が未だにアップデートを繰り返していることなどが挙げられるが、前述の魅力はそれを補って余りあると言っても過言ではない。

アーケード版も良くはなかったが、XBOXのコントローラではさらに難しい。新機体が増えたのは○だが、はたして満足感が得られるかどうかは少々疑問…?
