恐らく純粋にこの曲だけを初めて聞いたのなら、純粋に良い曲として認識できる可能性が高いのですが、原曲に固執している人にはお勧めできない一曲になっています。
曲自体はマイナーなノリが強い低音の効いたトランスです。

原曲と比較すると、若干重い感じというか重厚感があります。
原曲は比較的音数が少なくアレンジより明るく軽いイメージが強いですので、そのギャップが強いかもしれません。

カップリングである川田まみの曲は、アルバム『SEED』に収録されているので、このCDを買うとすればFace of Factが聞きたいかどうかに関わってくると思います。

僕は原曲は未聴なのでこの曲単体で評価をさせていただきます。
まず、KOTOKOさんの”Face Of Fact-Resolution Ver.-”。
聴いてると、「あ〜、I'veだな〜」と思いました。
メロに切なさ、曲調にどこか張り詰めた緊張感が漂っていて、非常に聴き応えがありました。
川田まみさんの”Undelete”は、本作購入前に「SEED」で聴きましたが、
スリリングな”Face〜”とは対照的に、こちらは非常に壮大なバラード。
「SEED」を聴いた時点で一発で気に入ってしまったので、個人的にはオススメです。
普段のKOTOKO（及び川田）さんのCDより多少安い（普段は通常盤は1260円）ので、
原曲を知らない、もしくは原曲を知っていても原曲のイメージと切り離して聴ける人には、
一聴の価値はあるのではないかと思います。

PCゲームで人気を博した『BALDR FORCE EXE』のOVA版『BALDR FORCE EXE RESOLUTION』のOP曲とED曲を収録。
OPはファンから支持の高いI'veの人気曲『Face of Fact』のリアレンジVer.『Face of Fact−RESOLUTION ver.−』。
EDはI'veの新曲『undelete』で、ボーカルを担当するのは川田まみさん。

初回特典には「キャラクターカード（全5種類の中から1枚）」を封入。

I'veの曲の中でも名曲中の名曲『Face of Fact』。
歌詞、メロディ共にカッコイイ曲で、歌詞においては言葉の使い方の上手さはさすがはKOTOKOさんといった感じです。

今作のアレンジは原曲とはだいぶ違い、ファンの間では評価は厳しいようですが、じぶんはダンス的なアレンジで好きです（全体的には原曲の方が良いですが）。
原曲と比較すると疾走感は若干劣るように感じますが、コレはコレでありかと。

『undelete』を聴いた感想は、良い曲だとは思いますが川田まみさんのシングル『緋色の空』に収録されていたc／wの『another planet』に似ているの曲なので、少々物足りない印象を受けました。
