堂本剛がプロデュースするソロ・ワーク・プロジェクト「ENDLICHERI☆ENDLICHERI」(エンドリケリー・エンドリケリー)の第1弾シングル。収録曲全てを堂本剛が作詞・作曲し、編曲にも精力的に携わった、力作揃いの楽曲を収録。


内容（「CDジャーナル」データベースより）

KinKi Kidsの堂本剛のソロ・プロジェクトの1作目。アーティスト名は本人も飼育している古代魚の学名から取った。(1)は、日本人が親しんできた桜の、美しさとはかなさを歌った。通常盤のみ収録の(3)は堂本がギターもプレイ。ブラスと打楽器が賑やかなファンク色の濃い異色曲。

全曲の作詞・作曲のみならず編曲まで本人が手がけたという作品。
元々アイドルというよりアーティスト気質の強い人だと感じていましたが
今まで以上に力がはいっている作品であることがうかがえますし
アーティストとしての成長が著しいですね！
ENDLICHERI＝アフリカに生息する古代魚の仲間で、剛自身
飼育しているそうですね。彼らしい感じがします。

初めて「ソメイヨシノ」を聴いた時は“独特の世界観…”と言う感じで
歌詞の意味まではよく理解できませんでしたが、聴けば聴くほど
味わいがでるというか深みがある作品で、好きになりました！

３曲とも曲調がまったく違い、しっとりした曲からノリノリ系まで
彼独自の繊細な感性が生かされた作品が楽しめます。
Kinkiのサウンドとは全く違った系統で楽しませてくれる
ENDLICHERI☆ENDLICHERIの今後の活動がとても楽しみです。
アルバムもリリースされることだし…。

「ソメイヨシノ」剛の濡れた声がどこまでも切なく響く。
「濡れ鼠」小刻みにリズムを刻む異国風味サウンドと剛の歌声がマッチして凄く面白い。最後の狂ったようなギター!!
「BlueBerry」ファンク炸裂。剛のファンキーな歌声とりんこさんのコーラス最高。
しかし、良い詩を書きますね。

感想はタイトルに尽きると言った印象。
曲に所謂キャッチーさは見受けられないが、本人が純粋に音楽を
楽しんでるなぁというのが随分伝わってきて好印象。
むしろ、それを意図的にはずしてきているのだろうか？
（以前、「街」というシングルを発売したと記憶しているが
　それはミスチル風歌謡のキャッチーな曲だったように思う）
通常版は３曲だが、１つのミニアルバムのよう。
アイドルの彼を期待していると裏切られるので要注意。

彼の魅力の１つは、斬新な歌詞。ＪＰＯＰにありがちな食傷気味の
言葉はなく、こんな表現があるのかと思わずニヤッとさせられる。
直接的過ぎず且つ抽象的過ぎないで伝わってくるものがあるという、
ギリギリの線で上手く詩を描いてるなと。
それに加えて彼のボーカルの魅力も大きい。３曲とも歌い方、声の感じ
を変え、思わずクセになる味を秘めている。その類まれなボーカルで
曲の持つイメージや感情を巧みに伝えている。

アルバムも発売するようだが、それが俄然楽しみになったことは
間違いない１作になった。
今後の成長に更なる期待をしたいということで、星４つ。
