三上寛のキャリアの中でけっして見過ごすことの出来ない大傑作が、ついに復刻されました。かつてキングからＣＤ化されたのですが、廃盤になっていました。この再発は２４bitデジタルリマスタリング、そしてＬＰのように開ける紙ジャケット。感涙しているファンも多いことでしょう。かつて私は中古ＣＤ店で、このアルバムが売られていたのを買い逃し、その後廃盤になってしまったと知って地団駄を踏んだものでありました。ふたたび広く世に出るこの不朽の名作を、じっくり味わいましょう。湯浅学氏もこの名盤について大賛辞を贈っていたことを思い出します。

「ストリッパーマン」ピアノの伴奏がいいです。聴いていると、
なんか夕日で赤〜く染まった放課後の空、通学路、変なおじ
さんの顔を思い出して、何故だろう、せつなくなります。
昭和の頃は良かったな〜って。

全く捨て曲がない。極めてテンションの高い作品集だ。加えて文学的かつ叙情性に富む傑作でもある。個人的には「ストリッパーマン」、「リゴー遺稿集」、「海人」が好きだが、とにかくにも、三上がふりしぼるように出したこのタイトルだ。オーケストラのアレンジもすばらしい。三上氏は人生の戦友。好みとか方向性ではなく、三上寛の演奏家としての、アティチュード、生き様は、リスナーである我らが受け止め、後世につたえなければならない。
